Commonly used materials for shields

Can significantly improve corrosion resistance, strength, hardness, resistance, and reduce the temperature coefficient of resistivity.

Among copper alloys, cupronickel is widely used in shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, precision instruments, medical equipment and other departments as corrosion-resistant structural parts due to its excellent corrosion resistance and easy plastic processing and welding. Some cupronickel also has special electrical properties, which can be used to make resistive elements, thermocouple materials and compensation wires.

But there is a disadvantage that the surface will turn yellow after reflow soldering. A high temperature-resistant white copper (280 degrees Celsius) can be selected, which is no problem after reflow soldering, but it will also turn yellow when reworked.
